Sundown Rebel 50 guitar amplifier head in East Meadow, New York

This Sundown Rebel 50 amplifier head was bought around 1987 from Sam Ash, and has only been used at 2 shows. It is LOUD for 50 watts, and has a great AC/DC sound with the gain all the way up. The clean channel is supposed to be a cross between a Fender Twin and an Ampeg. It's in great shape, and has all tubes functioning. Dennis Kager from Ampeg designed these, and the design is similar to a Marshall JCM 800 2203. There is also an RMS control which allows adjustment of the power output from 50 watts to 15 watts. It is useful for being able to overdrive the power section and get power tube distortion. Because of this feature there are a wide variety of overdrive tones available. It's a really solid amp for the price.
